Here we have welcoming and inclusive primary schools in and around Norfolk, committed to providing high-quality education and a nurturing environment for all their pupils. We are looking for enthusiastic and adaptable Key Stage 1 Supply Teachers to join their teams on a flexible basis. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who enjoys variety and is dedicated to delivering engaging lessons for KS1 pupils. Beginning March 2025.
Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum.
- Follow lesson plans provided by the class teacher or school.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where children feel safe and supported.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively and in line with school policies.
- Provide support to individual pupils or small groups as needed.
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure a smooth transition for students.
- Provide feedback on pupil progress and classroom developments as required.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
- The ability to quickly adapt to different classes and teaching environments.
- A nurturing and supportive approach to working with young children.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- A positive and flexible attitude towards teaching.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
