Job description

There are welcoming and inclusive primary schools dedicated to providing a high-quality education for all pupils. They create a nurturing and stimulating environment where children develop confidence, independence, and a love for learning. We are seeking KS1 Teachers to join their dynamic teams. This role begins April 2025.

Duties as KS1 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
  • Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, ensuring all children achieve their potential
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupils’ development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Ideal KS1 Teacher:

 

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching in KS1 or is an early career teacher with relevant training and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage young learners
  • Is passionate about early years education and fostering children's development
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to the school’s ethos
