This is a thriving and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing an excellent education for all their pupils. We are seeking an inspiring and experienced KS1 teacher to join their team as a Phase Leader. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead and support their KS1 team, ensuring outstanding teaching and learning across the phase. This begins September 2025.
Duties as a KS1 Teacher:
- Teaching: Deliver engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
- Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and support to KS1 teachers to drive excellent practice.
- Curriculum Development: Lead the development and implementation of an engaging KS1 curriculum.
- Assessment & Progress: Monitor pupil progress and use data to inform teaching and intervention strategies.
- Staff Development: Support and mentor teachers and teaching assistants, fostering a culture of continuous professional growth.
- Parental Engagement: Work closely with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS1 teaching.
- A strong understanding of KS1 curriculum, assessment, and pedagogy.
- Proven leadership skills or a desire to take on a leadership role.
- A commitment to raising standards and supporting all pupils to achieve their full potential as a KS1 Teacher.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
