Job description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to make a real impact on pupils' learning and development during these crucial years. This position begins April 2025.

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
  • Assess, track, and report on pupils' progress, ensuring all children reach their potential
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil development
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement
  • Contribute to extracurricular activities and the wider school community

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Has experience teaching in KS2 or is an early career teacher with relevant training and enthusiasm
  • Demonstrates strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners
  • Is passionate about providing engaging and inclusive education as a KS2 Teacher.
  • Works well as part of a team and contributes to the school’s ethos
