Job description

This is an inclusive and dynamic primary school dedicated to providing high-quality education for all of their students. We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed KS2 Teacher to join their team and inspire students in Key Stage 2 to achieve their potential.Starting September 2025.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.

  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom.

  • Monitor and assess student progress through regular testing, observations, and feedback.

  • Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and confidence.

  • Support students with their personal development, ensuring their social, emotional, and academic growth.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to plan and deliver integrated lessons and school projects.

  • Communicate regularly with parents and carers, providing updates on student progress and welfare.

  • Take part in school meetings, professional development activities, and school events.

  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the school’s curriculum and teaching strategies.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • A degree in Education or a relevant subject.

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.

  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, with a good understanding of the curriculum and assessment methods.

  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students with diverse learning needs as a KS2 Teacher.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.

  • Passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of students.
