Job description

Duties as a KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across all subjects in Key Stage 2

  • Assess, track and report on pupil progress in line with school and national expectations

  • Create a safe, stimulating, and supportive classroom environment

  • Contribute to planning, moderation, and staff meetings as part of the team

  • Work closely with colleagues, support staff and the wider school community

  • Support the school’s vision, values and commitment to safeguarding and inclusion

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations for all pupils

  • Has a strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks

  • Can plan and deliver engaging, creative, and inclusive lessons

  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families

  • Demonstrates strong classroom management and pastoral care skills as a KS2 Teacher.

  • Is reflective, committed to ongoing professional development, and a team player

  • (Desirable) Brings subject leadership experience or a specific curriculum strength
