We are looking for an enthusiastic and talented Music Teacher to join a dynamic team at a vibrant school. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire students and foster a love for music across all year groups. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as a Music Teacher:
Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons that cater to different learning styles and abilities.
Encourage creativity and musical expression through innovative teaching methods.
Organise and lead extracurricular activities such as school choirs, orchestras, and musical productions.
Support students in preparing for music exams, concerts, and performances.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate music into cross-curricular learning.
Maintain student progress records and provide constructive feedback.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures musical talent.
Ideal Music Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Music or a related subject.
Experience teaching music at primary or secondary level (preferred but not required).
Proficiency in playing and teaching a variety of instruments.
Strong knowledge of the Music curriculum and effective teaching techniques.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Music Teacher.
A passion for inspiring and developing young musicians.
