Duties as a Music Teacher:

• Plan and deliver engaging Music lessons across Key Stages 3,4 and 5 in line with the national curriculum
• Inspire students to explore different musical styles, instruments, and performance techniques
• Organise and lead school concerts, choirs, and instrumental ensembles
• Use a variety of teaching methods, including practical, theoretical, and digital music technology
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote a vibrant Music and Performing Arts culture within the school

Ideal Music Teacher:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Music at a secondary level.
• Is confident in teaching both practical and theoretical elements of Music
• Has a passion for Music and inspiring students of all abilities
• Has excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Music Teacher.
• Is committed to supporting the progress and well-being of all students
