Job description

We have warm and nurturing early years settings around Noroflk, dedicated to providing high-quality care and education for children. Their passionate teams work together to create a safe, stimulating, and fun environment where children can learn and grow. This role begins asap in February 2025.

Duties of a Nursery Nurse:

 

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children in line with the EYFS framework
  • Plan and engage in age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
  • Ensure a safe, secure, and inclusive environment for all children
  • Support children's personal, social, and emotional development
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, offering regular updates on their child’s progress
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a happy and stimulating nursery setting
  • Follow all safeguarding and health & safety procedures

Ideal Nursery Nurse:

  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years Education (or equivalent)
  • Has experience working with babies and young children (desirable but not essential)
  • Is passionate about early childhood development
  • Has a warm, caring, and patient nature
  • Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
  • Understands safeguarding policies and procedures
