Position: Nursery Teaching Assistant

Location: Enfield

Start Date: November 2024

Type: Long-term (Full-time)

Are you an experienced Nursery Teaching Assistant seeking a log-term fulfilling role in early childhood education? Step Teachers are working with a school located in Enfield, looking for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to join their team in November 2024.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

  • Make a positive impact within the classroom, supporting children's learning and development.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and provide pastoral support to children when required, fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on children's progress and achievements and fostering positive partnerships.
  • Assist the class teacher with planning and delivery of engaging activities that promote learning.

Nursery Teaching Assistant Requirements:

  • A Nursery Nurse/Early Years qualification or equivalent is desirable.
  • Previous experience working as a Nursery Teaching Assistant
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and well-being.
