Job description
Step Teachers are seeking an experienced, PE Teacher located in Brent commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 1 and a half terms, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a PE Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and high-quality PE lessons that are in line with the national curriculum.
- Foster a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles among students.
- Provide opportunities for students to participate in a range of sports and physical activities.
- Promote teamwork, leadership, and discipline both in and outside of PE lessons.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Participate in extra-curricular activities, clubs, and school events.
- Maintain a safe and positive environment for students at all times.
- Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the development of the department.
To be considered for this PE Teacher position, you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Passionate about teaching physical education to female students and inspiring them.
- Experience as a PE Teacher at secondary level.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
