Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with a Secondary School in the North of the Cotswold District in Gloucestershire who are looking for a PE Teacher. This is a full time PE Teacher role starting after the February half term working with female students, and continuing until at least the end of term with the potential for this to be extended until the end of the academic year. The PE Teacher role is in a Secondary School rated as 'Outstanding' under the former Ofsted ratings for school and they have an ethos of striving for everyone to perform at their best.

PE Teacher Role:

  • Strong Physical Education curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable
  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

PE Teacher Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in secondary school
  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a PE Teacher in a Secondary School
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • A relevant PE or Sports related degree is desirable.
  • SEND experience is desirable
