Step Teachers are seeking an experienced Physics Teacher located in Harrow commencing in February 2025. This full-time position is for 1 month initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.

Your duties as a Physics Teacher:
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality physics lessons that challenge and inspire students.
- Teach physics topics across Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, and possibly Key Stage 5, ensuring all students meet their potential.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students, including those with special educational needs and those working at higher levels.
- Provide engaging opportunities for students to conduct practical investigations and experiments.
- Monitor, track, and assess student progress, providing feedback and support to ensure academic success.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of the physics curriculum and department resources.
- Encourage students to pursue further studies and careers in physics and related fields.
- Participate in extracurricular activities, such as science clubs, school events, and trips, to further enrich students’ learning experiences.
To be considered for this Physics Teacher position, you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related field.
- Experience as a Physics Teacher for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (Key Stage 5 experience is desirable but not essential).
- A strong subject knowledge in physics and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and engaging way.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for physics and helping students develop a love for the subject.
