Job description
Class Act are seeking an experienced Primary School Teacher located in Didcot commencing in April 2025. This daily position is for 36 days initially, with potential extension based on performance and school discretion.
This is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a high standard of education to children and also boasts a good rating on Ofsted.
Your duties as a Primary School Teacher:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Create a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
- Support the social and emotional development of students.
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful classroom culture.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and carers about student progress and wellbeing.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
To be considered for this Primary School Teacher position, you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A passion for teaching and a commitment to the development of young learners.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Primary School Teacher
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of teachers and support staff.
- A commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of children.
- Continuous professional development and a desire to improve teaching practice.
