Class Act Teaching Services are currently looking for a Religious Education Teacher to work in a Secondary School located in Oxford. At their most recent inspection, this Secondary School was rated 'Good' under the former Ofsted ratings for schools, and they are looking for a Religious Education Teacher to join their teaching staff full time until the end of the academic year. The school are looking for a Religious Education Teacher to teach all year groups across KS3 and KS4 and embody the school's inclusive and student centred ethos.
Religious Education Teacher Role:
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 and KS4 Religious Education curriculum
- Organised and professional maintenance of the classroom and the associated resources
- Work effectively with other members of staff, both within the department and throughout the school
- Ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback
- Able to plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these
Religious Education Teacher Requirements:
- Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification for teaching in Secondary School
- Have recent mainstream school-based experience as a Religious Education Teacher in a Secondary School
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
- A relevant Religious Education related degree is desirable.
- SEND experience is desirable
