We are looking to appoint a committed and reflective Religious Studies Teacher who can also contribute to a Key Stage 3 Geography curriculum. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive Humanities department and inspire students in both ethical, philosophical and geographical learning.

The successful candidate will teach Religious Studies across Key Stages 3 and 4, and deliver engaging and well-structured Geography lessons to KS3 students. Beginning May 2025.

Duties as a Religious Studies Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality Religious Studies lessons in line with the curriculum and exam board expectations.

• Teach engaging and well-planned Geography lessons at KS3 level.

• Promote students' critical thinking, empathy, and awareness of global issues.

• Support departmental planning, assessment, and enrichment activities.

• Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and academically ambitious school environment.

Ideal Religious Studies Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

• A strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies, and the ability to teach KS3 Geography confidently.

• A passion for delivering Humanities subjects in an engaging and thought-provoking way.

• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

• A commitment to the personal and academic development of all students.
