Job description
Step Teachers are currently seeking an SEN/SEMH Teacher to work within a fantastic secondary school within the Bridgwater area. This role will begin as soon as possible.
The role of SEN teacher will be within a secondary setting working with children and young people who have special educational needs or disabilities.

Role:
Assist with classroom management and create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere
Encourage student participation and engagement in classroom activities
Help maintain a clean and organised learning environment
Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
Requirements:
Previous experience working with young children, especially in an educational setting, is an advantage
Qualifications in SEN Teaching
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff
A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
