Position: SEN Teacher

Location: Enfield

Start Date: ASAP

Type: Full-time

Are you a SEN Teacher committed to special education and improving the lives of children and young people with disabilities? Step Teachers are working with a school in Enfield to find a passionate SEN Teacher to join their year 2/3 class on a long-term supply basis.

SEN Teacher – Role:

  • Focus on delivering engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2/3 students.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment, ensuring the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members throughout the school to support the holistic development of students.
  • Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

 SEN Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS1 & KS2 curriculum.
  • Recent experience as an SEN Teacher in a Primary School.
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
  • SEND experience is desirable.
