Job description
Class Act Teaching Services are currently working with a Primary School in Abingdon who are looking for an SEND Teaching Assistant for a role with an immediate start. This SEND Teaching Assistant role will involve working 1 to 1 with a child in Year 4 Monday for Thursday, supporting them with their education in the classroom. This role is currently set to start as soon as possible and the school are looking for someone to continue until the end of the academic year.

SEND Teaching Assistant Role:
- Able to provide 1 to 1 support
- Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
- Ability to support students and encourage their progression
- Strong and professional communication with parents
- Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement effectively
SEND Teaching Assistant Requirements:
- Recent experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary School
- A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
- Previous SEND experience is essential
