Our client school are seeking a part-time Social Science and Health and Social Care teacher to join them for next half-term. The Social Science and Health and Social Care teacher will teach from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. The department is well equipped with all schemes of learning in place; these incorporate a range of practical materials and processes and are supported by inspirational learning and teaching resources. Key Responsibilities of a Social Science and Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Teach Social Science and Health and Social Care courses to a diverse group of students.
- Provide support and guidance to students pursuing careers in Health and Social Care.
- Assess and monitor student progress in Health and Social Care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Health and Social Care program.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Health and Social Care.
- Promote Health and Social Care education within the school community.
- As a Social Science and Health and Social Care Teacher, you are responsible for delivering high-quality lessons for KS3 and KS5 learners.
Qualifications of Social Science and Health and Social Care Teacher:
- Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- The ability to teach Health and Social Care at Secondary level.
- A degree in Health and Social Care or a related field.
- Teaching certification or relevant teaching experience in Health and Social Care.
- Strong knowledge of Health and Social Care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Passion for inspiring students to pursue careers in Health and Social Care.
