Job description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join this wonderful and respected school. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Spanish lessons to students of varying abilities, fostering a love for the language and culture. This role is for February 2025.

Duties as a Spanish Teacher:

 

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Spanish lessons.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support.
  • Create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment.
  • Encourage students to develop their language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs or cultural events.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the curriculum.

Ideal Spanish Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (for school-based roles).
  • A degree in Spanish, Modern Languages, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at Secondary  level.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a Spanish Teacher.
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring students.
