Your duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Supervise and assist children in the Breakfast Club setting, ensuring they are safe, happy, and well cared for.
• Help set up and maintain breakfast areas, ensuring they are clean and ready for use.
• Support children with a variety of activities including breakfast eating, socializing, and recreational games.
• Promote positive behavior and conflict resolution among children.
• Encourage healthy eating habits and ensure that all dietary requirements are met.
• Assist with organizing fun, engaging, and educational activities for the children.
• Ensure children are ready and prepared for the start of their school day.
• Liaise with teachers and parents regarding any concerns or special needs.
• Assist with the smooth running and closing down of the Breakfast Club.

To be considered for this Teaching Assistant position, you must have:

• Experience working with children (in a school or childcare setting) is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with children and staff.
• Ability to supervise and manage a group of children in a calm, caring, and supportive manner.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Patience, reliability, and a warm, approachable attitude.
• A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
