We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a school and support students' learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, supporting individual students, and ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

• Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed.
• Help manage classroom behavior and create an environment conducive to learning.
• Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Encourage and foster students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
• Assist with administrative tasks, such as marking, record-keeping, and classroom organization.
• Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other school activities.
• Communicate with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to learning and progress.

Requirements for this Teaching Assistant position:

• Previous experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and parents.
• A patient, caring, and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
