We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a school and support students' learning and development. As a Teaching Assistant, you will assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, supporting individual students, and ensuring a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:
- Support the classroom teacher in delivering lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students as needed.
- Help manage classroom behavior and create an environment conducive to learning.
- Assist in the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
- Encourage and foster students’ social, emotional, and academic development.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as marking, record-keeping, and classroom organization.
- Supervise students during breaks, lunchtime, and other school activities.
- Communicate with teachers, students, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to learning and progress.
Requirements for this Teaching Assistant position:
- Previous experience working with children in a classroom or educational setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with students, teachers, and parents.
- A patient, caring, and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A current DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
