Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team and support pupils in their learning and development. This role begins as soon as possible.

Duties as a Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons
  • Work with small groups or individual pupils to support their learning needs
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Provide one-to-one support for pupils with special educational needs if required
  • Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Support with classroom preparation and administrative tasks
  • Encourage and motivate pupils to reach their full potential

Ideal Teaching Assistant:

 

  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting is desirable
  • A patient, caring, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills as a Teaching Assistant.
  • A commitment to supporting children’s learning and development
  • A relevant qualification, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate, is beneficial but not essential
