As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the learning journey of our students and support them in their final year learning the Key Stage 1 curriculum. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the curriculum, and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
As a Year 2 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating engaging and innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback to parents and implementing strategies for improvement
- Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to the development of a cohesive and supportive teaching team
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, creativity, and a love for learning
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational trends and best practices
As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will be required to:
- QTS or equivalent
- Teaching certification and relevant experience in a primary school setting
- Proven ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
