Job description
Step Teachers are working with a school that aims to develop well-rounded, responsible individuals who grab chances, discover their interests, and enjoy learning throughout their lives, to locate a Year 2 Supply Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The Year 2 Teacher will work with a class of well-behaved and passionate Primary level students. The Year 2 teacher should be enthusiastic and eager to interact with their kids, contributing to the school's courteous, pleasant, and safe learning environment.
Year 2 Teacher - Role:
- Able to deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons.
- Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
- Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
- The Year 2 Teacher should have ability to assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
- Compliance with the schools’ policies and the reliable implementation of these.
Year 2 Teacher - Requirements:
- Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Have recent experience as a Primary level Supply Teacher – Key Stage 1.
- Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
- Enhanced up-to-date DBS.
