Job description
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join a variety of friendly and supportive school communities. This role is ideal for a passionate educator who is committed to inspiring and engaging young learners while creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment. This role begins February 2025.
Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
- Differentiate lessons to support the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
- Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to ensure a positive learning experience.
- Take part in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Ideal Year 3 Teacher:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS/PGCE or equivalent).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
- Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
- A passion for education and a commitment to supporting every child’s progress.
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
