Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher to join their team at a vibrant School. The successful candidate will create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a love for learning in lower Key Stage 2. This role begins March 2025.

Duties as a Year 3 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support where needed.
  • Encourage students' social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s learning.
  • Maintain a safe and structured learning environment.
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.

Ideal Year 3 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching at Key Stage 2 (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills as a Year 3 Teacher.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners.
