Position: Year 4 Teacher

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Start Date: September 2024 

Type: Full-time (Temporary to Permanent)

Are you an experienced and dedicated Year 4 Teacher seeking an exciting opportunity? Step Teachers are working with a well-regarded Primary School located in St Albans to find a Year 4 Teacher to join their team in September 2024. This is a temporary role for a year with the possibility of permanency.

Year 4 Teacher – Role:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons to Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the school to support student learning and development.
  • Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and monitor their academic growth.
  • Ensure compliance with the school's policies and contribute to maintaining a positive and safe educational atmosphere.

Year 4 Teacher – Requirements:

  • Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification
  • Possess a strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Have recent experience as a Year 4 Teacher in a Primary School setting.
  • Demonstrate effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
