Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 5 Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire and support pupils in their learning journey? We are seeking a passionate individual to join a welcoming team at a scool in Norfolk, delivering high-quality teaching and fostering a love for learning in Key Stage 2. This role begins March 2025.

Duties of a Year 5 Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages all pupils to reach their full potential.
  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
  • Foster a love of learning through innovative and interactive teaching methods.
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s development.
  • Contribute to school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.

Ideal Year 5 Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
  • A strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
  • Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
