Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 6 Teacher to join a variety of supportive and dynamic school communities. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who can engage and inspire pupils while preparing them for their transition to secondary school. We are looking for some one to begin ASAP in February 2025.

Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEND and EAL.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Maintain strong behaviour management strategies to support a focused classroom environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the wider school community.

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and SATs preparation.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Year 6 Teacher.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to supporting every child’s progress.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
