Job description

Schools around Hertfordshire are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Year 6 Supply Teachers to provide high-quality teaching and support in their classrooms. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential. This role begins ASAP.

Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

 

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and establish positive relationships with pupils
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback where required
  • Follow school policies and procedures, including behaviour management strategies
  • Work collaboratively with staff to ensure continuity in pupils’ learning

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6
  • Strong classroom management skills and adaptability
  • A passion for education and a commitment to pupil success as a Year 6 Teacher
  • The ability to quickly build rapport with pupils and staff
