Duties as a Year 6 Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality lessons that engage and challenge all learners.

• Support pupils in achieving their full potential, including preparation for SATs.

• Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support pupil progress.

• Foster a love for learning and ensure pupils are ready for the transition to secondary school.

Ideal Year 6 Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in Key Stage 2.

• A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Year 6 Teacher.

• A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all pupils.

• A proactive and reflective approach to teaching and learning.
