Schools around Hackney are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Computer Science Teachers to deliver high-quality lessons in programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy across [Key Stage 3, Key Stage 4, Key Stage 5]. Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:

• Deliver engaging and effective Computer Science lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of different learning abilities.
• Ensure a positive and well-managed learning environment in the classroom.
• Follow lesson plans provided or prepare appropriate cover lessons where necessary.
• Support students in both theoretical and practical aspects of Computer Science, including coding, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Assess and track student progress during the cover period.
• Collaborate with other staff to ensure continuity in student learning.

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Computer Science or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at [Key Stage 3/4/5].
• Strong knowledge of programming languages (such as Python, Java, or C) and computational theory.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills as a Computer Science Teacher.
• A passion for inspiring students in the field of technology and computer science.
• The ability to work flexibly and independently.
