Duties as a Computer Science Teacher:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Computer Science lessons that engage and challenge students.
• Teach programming languages such as Python, Java, or C, and introduce students to computational thinking.
• Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level Computer Science examinations (if applicable).
• Encourage a problem-solving approach and independent thinking.
• Assess, monitor, and provide feedback to support student progress.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop the Computer Science curriculum.
• Support extracurricular activities such as coding clubs, hackathons, or robotics competitions.

Ideal Computer Science Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Computer Science, ICT, or a related field.
• Experience teaching Computer Science at [Key Stage 3/4/5].
• Knowledge of programming languages and software development.
• A passion for technology and innovation in education as a Computer Science Teacher.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
