Job description

Position: Deputy Head Teacher

Location: Enfield, Middlesex

Start Date: January 2025

Type: Long Term (Full-time)

​​​Step Teachers are working with a primary school based in Enfield to recruit an exceptional Deputy Head Teacher. Under the former Ofsted ratings for schools, this ‘Good’ school has outstanding features, one of those being leadership & management. This role is due to commence in January 2025.

Deputy Head Teacher – Role:

  • Have a stimulating creative teaching technique for young pupils with positive results.
  • Work independently and fully responsible for the various tasks constituted in their role.
  • Understand how children learn best and ensure each child reaches their full potential.
  • Have a clear vision of what outstanding provisions and standards look like for inclusion, learning and behaviour.

Deputy Head Teacher – Requirements:

  • QTS and proof of relevant teaching qualification.
  • Mainstream school-based experience as a Deputy Head Teacher or management position.
  • Strong understanding of educational policies, practices, and curriculum frameworks.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate staff and students towards achieving excellence.
