Design Technology Teacher duties:

• Deliver engaging and creative Design Technology lessons in line with the curriculum.
• Adapt to different classrooms and teaching environments as required.
• Maintain a safe, well-managed, and productive learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans provided or prepare appropriate cover lessons where necessary.
• Supervise and support students in practical and theoretical work.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in workshops and classrooms.
• Assess and support student progress during the cover period.

Ideal Design Technology Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
• Experience teaching Design Technology across [Key Stage 3/4/5].
• Strong classroom management and adaptability skills as a Design Technology Teacher.
• A passion for inspiring creativity and problem-solving in students.
• The ability to work flexibly and independently.
