We are looking for a qualified and passionate English Teacher to join a secondary school in Newham on a supply basis, starting immediately.

As the ideal English Teacher for this role, you will:
- As an English Teacher, you need to be able to possess a strong knowledge of the English language and English Literature curriculum at the KS3 and KS4 levels.
- Upkeep a clean, tidy, and considerate classroom environment.
- Display a strong, mentoring personality toward students.
- As an English Teacher, you must be able to cultivate positive relationships with students, working to inspire good behaviour and a passion for learning.
- Cooperate with and support your colleagues and additional classroom staff.
- Comply with and implement the school's policies and participate in their support. educational ethos.
Requirements for an English Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience teaching English at secondary school level (KS3 & KS4).
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English literature and language.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly and manage a classroom effectively.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
