Are you a qualified and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner looking for a new role? Step Teachers are working with a ‘Good’ Ofsted-rated Nursery school in Kilburn to find a qualified Early Years Practitioner to join their team in September 2024 on a Long-term (Supply) Position where you can collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals who care and make a significant difference to children’s educational success and future attainment.

Early Years Practitioner – Role:

  • Planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children.
  • Observations and assessments of each child's development, providing regular updates to parents and colleagues.
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all students in the class.
  • Keep accurate records of children's progress and activities.
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively.

 Early Years Practitioner – Requirements:

  • Hold a Level 3 early years qualification (non-negotiable).
  • Recent Nursery experience in a mainstream school or private nursery.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework
  • Have an adaptable approach to learning.
  • An empathetic and compassionate nature
  • SEND experience is desirable.
  • EYFS trained teacher for our Additional Resourced Provision, children with a diagnoses of Autism
