​Step Teachers working with a School in Mile End to source an experienced General Science Teacher to start ASAP. This is a part-time available Monday to Thursday

This is a "Good" Ofsted-rated school the headteacher and other leaders have very high aspirations for the girls in their care. They have successfully created a happy, warm and nurturing community where pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Role

• Strong General Science curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4

• Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed

• Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable

• Ability to assess and report on your students when required

• Able to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons

• Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

Requirements:

• Hold QTS or the equivalent of

• Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching General Science

• The relevant subject-specific degree is desirable

Hours of work:

The role will be 4 days a week Monday to Thursday
