Job description

Class Act Teaching Services are working with a Primary School near Bicester who are looking for a HLTA to join their team 3 days per week. The HLTA role will involve working across all years in KS2 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday starting as soon as possible and continuing until at least April 2025 but may be extended beyond.

This is a recently opened Primary School who’s overarching aim to make everyone in the school the best that they can be. One of their values is in aiming high and supporting people to not only achieve but thrive.  

HLTA Role:

  • Able to support the delivery and planning of the curriculum 
  • Upkeep a tidy and organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
  • Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
  • Ability to support students and encourage their progression
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

HLTA Requirements:

  • Recent experience working in a Primary School is essential
  • A good knowledge of the curriculum
  • A recognised HLTA qualification and/or relevant experience at this level
  • SEND experience is desirable
