Job description

We foster a supportive and inspiring learning environment where children feel valued, challenged, and motivated to succeed. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic KS1 Phase Leader to join their leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated teacher with strong leadership skills to make a significant impact on the development and progress of pupils in Key Stage 1. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as KS1 Phase Leader:

 

  • Lead and manage the KS1 team to ensure high-quality teaching and learning across the phase.
  • Monitor pupil progress and implement strategies to support achievement and wellbeing.
  • Develop and deliver an engaging and creative curriculum in line with national expectations.
  • Support, mentor, and inspire colleagues, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to drive school improvement initiatives.
  • Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to support pupils’ development.
  • Ensure safeguarding, behaviour, and inclusion policies are effectively implemented.

Ideal KS1 Phase Leader:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff.
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching, learning, and pupil progress.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a KS1 Phase Leader.
  • A passion for creating an inclusive and nurturing learning environment.
