This is a vibrant and inclusive primary school dedicated to providing a nurturing and inspiring learning environment for our pupils. We believe in fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in young learners. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team and help their children develop strong foundations for their future education. This role begins September 2025.
Duties as KS1 Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS1 National Curriculum.
- Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that supports the needs of all pupils.
- Use a variety of teaching strategies to ensure all children make progress.
- Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to pupils and parents.
- Establish and maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.
Ideal KS1 Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience in KS1.
- A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and child development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage young learners.
- A commitment to high expectations and raising pupil achievement.
- Strong teamwork and a passion for collaborative teaching and learning as a KS1 Teacher.
- A nurturing and patient approach, with a strong focus on pastoral care.
