This is a leading institution committed to academic excellence and student success. We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English Lecturer to deliver high-quality teaching and inspire students in their study of English language and literature. Beginning September 2025.

Duties as English Lecturer:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures in English Language and/or Literature at [Further Education (FE) / Higher Education (HE)] level.

• Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum requirements.

• Use a variety of teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.

• Assess and provide constructive feedback on student work to enhance academic progress.

• Conduct tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions where applicable.

• Provide academic and career guidance to students.

• Engage in research and professional development to enhance teaching practice.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental meetings, and quality assurance processes.

Ideal English Lecturer:

• A degree in English, Literature, Linguistics, or a related field.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.

• Experience teaching English at [FE/HE] level.

• Strong communication and presentation skills as English Lecturer.

• Passion for teaching and supporting student success.
