Duties as Maths Lecturer:

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lectures in mathematics at [Further Education (FE) / Higher Education (HE)] level.

• Develop and update course materials in line with curriculum requirements.

• Use a range of teaching methodologies to support diverse learners.

• Assess and provide feedback on student work to support academic progress.

• Conduct tutorials, workshops, and practical sessions where applicable.

• Support students with academic guidance and career advice.

• Engage in research and professional development to enhance teaching practice.

• Contribute to departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and quality assurance processes.

Ideal Maths Lecturer:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.

• A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or willingness to obtain one.

• Experience teaching maths at [FE/HE] level.

• Strong communication and presentation skills as a Maths Lecturer.

• Passion for teaching and supporting student success.
