Are you a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant seeking a rewarding opportunity in a Primary school in the Redbridge area? Then we're looking for you! This school wants it's staff and parents to work together to enable all the children who pass through the school to reach their full potential and beyond in a safe, happy, and caring environment. They're currently seeking a supply KS1 Teaching Assistant to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities of a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
- Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one support to students, fostering their academic and personal growth.
- The KS1 Teaching Assistant must be able to assist with classroom management and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- The KS1 Teaching Assistant must assess student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
Requirements of a KS1 Teaching Assistant:
- Good knowledge of Key Stage 1.
- Minimum of 6 months experience as a Teaching Assistant in a UK-based educational setting is essential.
- Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant Qualification is desirable.
- Verifiable references from previous employers or placements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for education and supporting the learning journey of students.
- SEN experience is desirable.
