Job description

This is a welcoming and high-achieving primary school dedicated to fostering a love of learning in all their pupils. Their committed staff work collaboratively to provide an engaging and supportive learning environment where children thrive. We are now looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team and make a lasting impact on our pupils' education. This role begins September 2025.

Duties as KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all pupils feel valued.
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and needs.
  • Assess, track, and monitor pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
  • Maintain high standards of classroom management and behaviour.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to support children’s education and well-being.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities, events, and school initiatives.

Ideal KS2 Teacher:

 

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in KS2.
  • A strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching practices.
  • The ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils in their learning.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to high expectations and raising pupil achievement.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills as a KS2 Teacher.
  • A passion for providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment.
