Step Teachers are working with a College in the Okehampton area, and they're currently seeking a Maths Teacher. This school serves students aged 11-19 and they believe in identifying and providing the assistance each learners needs to maximise their achievements. They have high expectations for students and teachers alike to work together to ensure strong progress. They're seeking for a dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher to join their school for a 1 year Maternity Cover Long-Term Supply role starting in September 2024. This is an exciting opportunity for a Maths Teacher who is eager to make a positive impact in a forward-thinking school community.

Maths Teacher – Role:

• Deliver engaging and effective Mathematics lessons to students across various year groups.
• Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with the UK Mathematics curriculum.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student participation and confidence in Maths.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share best practices across the Maths department.

 Maths Teacher – Requirements:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent qualification.
• A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Maths Teacher at the Secondary School level.
• Strong knowledge of the Mathematics curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
