Duties as a Maths Teacher:

• Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching of the maths curriculum

• Plan lessons that are challenging, engaging, and rooted in real-world relevance

• Track and assess pupil progress, adapting your approach where needed

• Foster a classroom culture that values effort, reasoning, and resilience

• Support exam preparation, enrichment opportunities, and targeted intervention

• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and continually improve outcomes

• Participate in wider school life and professional development

Ideal Maths Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for maths

• Clear, confident classroom communication and effective behaviour management

• A reflective and adaptable approach to teaching and learning as a Maths Teacher.

• Familiarity with current curriculum and assessment frameworks
