This is a vibrant and inclusive school that values language learning and cultural diversity. We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate MFL Teacher to inspire students in learning [French/Spanish/German] across Key Stages 3, 4 and 5. This role begins March 2025.
Duties as an MFL Teacher:
- Plan and deliver engaging and challenging MFL lessons tailored to different ability levels.
- Teach [French/Spanish/German] across KS3/KS4/KS5.
- Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills.
- Use interactive teaching methods, including role plays, digital resources, and real-life scenarios.
- Promote a love for languages and encourage participation in extracurricular activities, such as language clubs and international trips.
- Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and targeted support.
- Foster an appreciation for different cultures and the importance of language learning.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve the MFL curriculum.
Ideal MFL Teacher:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching [French/Spanish/German] at [KS3/KS4/KS5].
- Strong subject knowledge and fluency in the target language.
- A passion for languages, culture, and global learning.
- Excellent classroom management and behaviour management skills as an MFL Teacher.
- The ability to make language learning engaging, relevant, and interactive.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, working effectively with colleagues and students.
- A commitment to high expectations and raising student attainment.
